Help in Managing Your Existing HSA

While the Health Saver 2600 used with a BlueAccount HSA is a new “consumer-centered” approach to health coverage, you get your care exactly as you would with any GuideStone medical plan. You simply show your medical plan ID card to your health care provider. You also have the same broad selection of PPO network providers.

HSA BlueAccount: Different options, you decide

  • Use the money in your account for claims or pay out-of-pocket.
  • Save your account money for future care.
  • Roll over your unused HSA funds to the next year.
  • Take your account with you — the funds go where you go even if you change employers.

Viewing your account
To help you manage your BlueAccount HSA, simply log on to Highmark's Web site, select the “Your Spending” tab and click on the “Spending Account” link. You will be able to check account balances as well as view deposits and a history of your transactions — everything you need to manage your account!

A note on preventive care
Because we want you to get the important preventive care you need, your Health Saver 2600 plan provides “first dollar” coverage for certain preventive care services. This means you do not have to meet your deductible before your coverage begins to pay benefits for preventive care.
