Step Four: Grow spiritually

Help your employees stay focused on what's important

Connecting faith with fitness will help your church staff feel more relaxed and motivated. Studies support that prayer and faith play into living a healthier life:

  • Women involved in faith-based wellness programs increased their physical activity by 78%, according to a study by the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.
  • The more you pray, the better health you’ll have, according to a study by the American Heart Association journal Circulation.

Tips to measure the results

To help your worksite wellness program be a success, measure the results. Ask your employees to report back if they’ve:

  • Accepted the wellness challenge.
  • Read and prayed 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

Keep track of how many employees are participating and have completed the challenge.
