Care Basic Plan and Care Plus Plan prescription drug program
- Included with Care Plans: When you’re enrolled in a medical plan through GuideStone, there’s no need to get Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage elsewhere. Important: If you sign up for Medicare prescription drug coverage through another carrier, you may lose your GuideStone medical coverage.
- Comprehensive benefits: Both the Care Basic Plan and Care Plus Plan include prescription drug benefits that align with Medicare requirements and have no annual prescription drug maximums. Both plans offer additional healthcare benefits not included in a Medicare Part D plan.
- Coverage in the gap: Generic drug copays continue through the coverage gap (or "donut hole"). Preferred and non-preferred prescription drug copays apply in the initial coverage zone only.
