Gain Peace-of-Mind With a GuideStone Senior Health Plan

The Care Basic Plan and Care Plus Plan help to minimize your out-of-pocket health care expenses by supplementing your Medicare coverage. These plans are available to active employees, retirees and dependents who are eligible for GuideStone medical coverage and have Medicare as their primary payer of benefits.  Additional senior plans may be available to Group Plans employers.

Advantages of the GuideStone plans

  • Combined medical and prescription drug coverage. Why juggle more plans than you have to? Multiple plans mean multiple bills and more hassle. GuideStone's plans are designed to provide both medical and prescription drug benefits — one plan, one bill and support you can count on.
  • No annual prescription drug deductible. Many plans on the market require participants to pay an up-front deductible of up to $295 before benefits start. GuideStone’s plan benefits kick in right away — no deductible.
  • Generic copays in the coverage gap. Many plans do not provide any coverage in the "donut hole." GuideStone’s plans provide coverage for generic drugs at a copay in the gap.
  • Coverage for non-Part D drugs. Part D plans are based on the standard Part D formulary. GuideStone has additional coverage for some non-Part D drugs as an enrichment to the plan. This means participants have coverage for more drugs than standard Part D plans.

Important:
The Care Basic Plan and Care Plus Plan pay health care costs based on Medicare-approved amounts. The participant pays all of the costs for services not covered by Medicare and costs above the Medicare-approved amount.

For more information about Group Plans for employers with 10 or more employees, contact an Insurance Solutions and Services representative with GuideStone. Existing Group participants should see your employer’s authorized benefits representative for details.
